I love the part about the skill group showing up in the skill info, i too always forget whch skill belongs to which group

I would really like a search function in the Skill Sheet.
With over hundreds of skills injected, it's hard to find which is which.

Punkturis, why are the wallet settings in a tab and most other settings (fleet/overview/mail/drones) accessed through the top-left window icon?

Any reason why you chose shift-drag to train another level of a skill instead of the standard shortcut of ctrl-drag for making a copy?

The latter one is clearly a muddier issue to tackle.

looks good! But I was wondering if the insurance information would be available to just the owner of the ship? don't really want people to know if I'm flying insured or not.

So very much this. I'd imagine the average person who cares about their personnel wallet and corp wallet don't really give a rip about their AUR balance.

It's a meh'ish change, I guess, for corp alts... or people who just use the corp wallet as their own, but couldn't you remove the useless AUR hint and make it list personnel + corp?

A change like that would take the same four lines, and be vastly more useful to most everyone.

I'm seeing a winning formula here...

1. Take a whole bunch of things that irk players every day they log on and fix them.
2. Tell us about it in a devblog.
3. Have the devs hang around in the comments thread to give further communication/clarification/feedback.

We've now seen this strategy twice and it's generating more goodwill among your paying customers than new features. I love new features too, but a lot of this small stuff is pure aurum.

CCP Punkturis is probably at home and scanning the forums while listening to Rock Music. CCP must be proud to have such a dedicated person with excellent musical tastes.

On a related note, can you look into why everyone in a corp's wallet flashes when someone adjusts the corp wallet balance by making a market order or selling something where the money goes into the corp wallet? It's been a weird bug that's been happening for months now. It even affects people in the corporation who can't see the corp wallet at all. This is not simply limited to the corporation this character is in.

SuperSpy00bob and I suggested that exact thing on page 3, and we already got a dev response in this thread that they'd look at it, and try to make it happen. Prob. not in time for the expansion though. It's... a few posts prior to yours.

Feature Request:

- Allow us to start multiple votes to lock/unlock BPOs if multiple BPOs are selected when a vote to lock/unlock is initiated.
- Allow us to register multiple votes simultaneously if multiple open votes are selected when a yes/no vote is cast.
- Allow us to put multiple passed votes into effect simultaneously if multiple passed votes are selected before issuing command.

This request would address the issue of wanting to move offices, but being unable to because you've managed to lock down some 800+ BPOs over the years and don't want to get carpal tunnel going through the 2400+ mouse clicks (and miles of scroll wheel usage) currently required to unlock them all prior to unrenting the office in question.

I'm not one to pick at positive improvements, and I really like the world map staying minimized, but the rest of that post I really couldn't get excited about. Seemed kinda half inspired... Like seeing the corp wallet, so now I can toggle personal or corp wallet when I hover over my wallet; why not toggle to show both or just personel? Cause I'm guessing that I'm always gonna want to see my personal wallet when I see it go flashy.
Maybe I'm just being Devil's advocate here, but how long did those little things take? Cause Team Papercuts made a Ton of really cool and needed Fixes in 3 weeks... And that Bar is set pretty high, and by the looks of it, you just used a popsicle stick to jump with. *shrug* just saying.

although, I think they were going to change that at some point, where initiating a clone jump would automatically do all of those things for you. Maybe I'm wrong? If they aren't planning to do that - they should.

hm... I don't know where to say... maybe here. I would realy like one minor tweak.

When you look at ships info box in skills tab, you see what skills you already got trained and what not. Now after this blog we will see that in individual skill info box too - whats nice! But do you know what I realy wanted? When you are in ships info recommendation tab (where are certificates listed for that particular ship), you can't see what certificates you have leardned, and what don't. It whould realy help if you could look that information.

From my post we have one week until full winter expantion release. But it's very minor fix. Can you make it until expantion? How long does it take to fix it?

Corporation Wallet Tooltip - If you can add this setting, then you can add a setting to let us remove the display of Aurum. Aurum-displaying is never interesting for anyone of us, even if you are seeking to buy stuff from that store you only need that information right then, Isk is always relevant. And while Aurum has very low relevance to a few pilots, it has zero to most. It makes no sense at all to have a gigantic display blocking our wallet-view to display something useless, no? More options is good, let us remove it please.

You still need to remove Aurum tho. You remember the old wallet content display before Aur was added? Then we only actually had one thing displayed, but when Aur was introduced, it was put in there with a big font, completely taking over the wallet display. Now we're stuck with a tiny wallet text and a (pardon the phrase, but this is exactly what it is) a ****-blocking Aur-display. It's a gigantic insult in our face, that not only takes up more space than the relevant information, it also happens to be.. you know, irrelevant (to almost everyone, and for the few others, it's useless 'at most time').

The least thing you can do is to add a setting for that Aur-display too. It's not like we requested that repeatedly back when it was added in the first place. And it's not like it's gotten less annoying and ****-blocking over the months.. And it's not like it should be very hard for you to add a tick-box. Come on, we all know you want to promote it, and we all know barely anyone uses it. Right now you're ruining a good addition (the corp-display option) by being stubborn about maintaining something that is a) useless and b) annoying.

Yup, that's exactly how I read it.

Either you have: corp + personal display (including Aur)
Or you have: personal display (including Aur)

So either way there's no escape out of the annoying Aur-display. Hence me jumping to the conclusion that you want to force this on players, since the only real optional display here is corp wallet on/off. Either you're not very good at explaining, or I'm not very good at reading, but when I have now read your posts five-six times I still see that Aur is going to be a permenent display, no matter what?

If I may, to be perfectly clear... Aurum will be an optional display, correct?

Actually, you were wrong (this time).. I did read your response to him, but I only glanced through what he posted. After all, he's just a player and his opinions are quite irrelevant to me.

Either way, nice to have it cleared up, and a big thank you for getting rid of the Aur, finally. It's been a nuissance for a long time for me and some friends, and to be fair, I never thought I'd see this day coming, after suggesting having it removed and/or optional so many times.

Two things to add: a) good of you to keep responding and/or reading this thread, that's something CCP could do with alot more, and b) in general, when you're changing stuff like this, the base rule is "more options is better". Players want to customize their clients to reflect their interests/appeals, so if you're editing displays and tools.. add optional displays, if you can.

I'm rather tempted to say you should try to pick up the Communications dev position because you'd probably be awesome at that, unlike a certain (previous?) ccp who didn't know when to humble himself
